I just found your site a couple of weeks ago, and I've already bookmarked many of your articles. I really enjoy your thoughts on Canadian conservatism and its unique Canadian tradition, something I've written about in several of my own articles on Medium. In particular, I appreciate your commenting that Canadian conservatism can't just emulate the Thatcherite or Reaganite policies of the countries that produced them.
I'd also note, as an Albertan, that we're much closer to the centre than most of our critics or admirers realize. Ralph Klein's 'third way' healthcare reforms failed because of our suspicion about for-profit care, Peter Lougheed raised oil royalties and actively invested the money for long-term gains, and we're the only province to have land bases and governance set aside for the Metis. And when Lougheed himself was talking about slowing the growth of the oilsands and regretting supporting NAFTA, that shows that we're not the true-blue Thatcherites our haters or our supporters in other provinces claim we are.
Thank you, Jared. The kind words are greatly appreciated! I of course agree with you here, feel free to email me directly as well thedominion@substack.com

Please keep up the great work!
