Welcome back Ben. I'm glad that you have kept notes. I certainly would one of the readers of a book based on them.

Excellent news. I ran into you last year with a couple of buddies at a local pub and we all pleaded with you for this day to come.

"...specifically essays that are much more philosophical and abstract..."

That's what I, personally, think we need a bit more of in this country. I'll be following closely.

>In September 2022, I took a job working for Pierre Poilievre as his Director of Communications

you really blew it

Canadian conservatives just wanted lower immigration & inflation, but instead you spent entire election cycle using Pierre's social media accounts to obsequiously pander to Sihks (2% of Canadian voters) and advocating for genocide to pander to Jews (1% of Canadian voters)

What do you expect from Conservative Canadians, like Pierre? Conservatives, like Sir John A. "genocided" first nations folks by building them schools and sending out the RCMP to keep American whiskey traders on the other side of the medicine line.. Both conservatives and liberals "genocided" the Germans by carpet bombing them in World War II. Liberal and Conservative Canadians ought to "genocide" you too --- because you're a dull-witted "apologist" for twit brained Hamas thugs who also require "genociding".

Your bloodthirsty, sneering begging for genocide is a large reason you lost (even if you are using the term ''ironically'' here). Young and brown Canadians overwhelmingly oppose Zionism. It's an extremely unpopular issue, and Pierre doubled and tripled down on it.

What you mean to say is that young and brown Canadians are anti-semites! I don't think so. I think that this is just your dull-witted interpretation of myself describing yourself as dull-witted, while you countered with "blood thirsty". But I don't desire your blood or anyone else's blood. You seem to be confusing me with your Hamas buddies. I'm simply enjoying a feast on your half-wit.

according to the most recent poll from Pew Research, 60% of Canadians have an unfavorable view of Israel. It isn't my imagination. When the boomers are gone, Israel will have no support left in Canada.

According to 100% of the boomer(s) replying to you, 98% of all Canadians over 35 and under Boomer Age are 1.4 trillion dollars in debt which, for the most part, they have borrowed from us Boomers. When we give it to half-wits such as yourself, Mr. Brunet, upon our demises, you are going to enjoy a hyperinflation which your new political "messiah" will blame on the Jews. Enjoy your coming Canuck-Fuhrer. Israel has never had any real support anywhere --- except from their actual leader whom neither you know, nor of whom they can say the NAME. So you are right about, then, "No support for Israel." from your evil generation.

*Willem Defoe Voice* you know, I’m something of an armchair communications director myself.

While I wondered if that “intellectually grounded conservatism” line was a dig at the populist majority within the CPC—

what I really wonder is if you think any politician has found the right policy message on housing. No one at any level is talking about Owner-Builders, our once largest source of housing. Is there a reason why?

Very much looking forward to more of your writing. I had followed you on Twitter long back so I noted with interest when you joined Poilievre's team. I was surprised that you hadn't been offered a senior policy role though. And yes, it would be fascinating to hear your thoughts on life on the inside to the extent you can share them.
